So, where were we?
It's pretty amazing that you don't really know where you stand until someone asks you. And then, what's even more amazing is the strength of your passion, when it does get ignited.
Without any veil, I am talking about the recent elections. And the shock and dismay that I felt upon waking up on November 3rd to find that this truly was the Bush Decade. That dismay hasn't fully faded... I'll confess that I've felt drugged and disassociated from reality for the last two weeks. And, of course, that's the flip side of that passion. When it collapses, it sucks everything dry for a while. With a little luck, in time, I'll be able to give a shit, again. But right now... blah.
I don't like our current Administration. I don't like the fact that it now has even greater support from both houses of Congress, and will presumably be placing at least one Supreme Court Justice.
I don't like it.
I have to live with it.
